Meet Our Ingredients: Organic Argan Oil

Welcome to the 6th edition of "Meet Our Ingredients." Each month we will showcase the ingredients we use in our products to keep you informed of what you are putting on your body, why it is so powerful, and how it works to give you amazing skin.

Organic Argan Oil is just one of the amazing ingredients in our Pure Revitalizing Cream and Nourishing Night Oil.

Hawaiian Healing Skin Care prides itself on using only natural and organic ingredients in each of our products. We don't include any chemicals or synthetic elements – only items nature provides. We like to say nature knows what you need, so we are giving it to you in each amazing Hawaiian Healing product.

Organic Argan Oil is power-packed with vitamin A, vitamin E, Omega-6 fatty acids and linoleic acid. It aids with inflammation, absorbs easily, and is extremely hydrating to aid in the reduction of fine lines. With its fatty acids, vitamins, and antioxidants, Argan Oil is an incredible element to help erase the signs of premature aging. When used regularly, it can help reduce the depth and severity of wrinkles to restore elasticity, fade age spots, and help increase the regeneration rate of healthy skin cells.

"Argan oil […] is my total skin secret. It’s spectacular!” – actress Eva Mendes, 48, raves about the “golden oil” as a daily skin moisturizer.

Argan Oil is also a powerful, natural ingredient to aid in healing red bumps, in-grown hairs, razor burn, and dry/brittle skin that can result from shaving. This happens because Argan Oil contains polyphenols that help by alleviating skin irritations, acting as an agent for cleansing and detoxifying the skin. The sterols are also a key component to this oil, as it can also diminish redness, itchiness, and irritation. The oil quickly permeates our skin by adding much-needed moisture to the irritated area.

Brazilian fashion model Gisele Bundchen, 41, proudly boasts that she uses Argan oil to soothe and soften her skin.

But did you know Argan oil is great for both dry and oily skin? While it adds moisture to your skin, it’s also non-greasy and non-comedogenic (which means it won’t clog your pores). If you’re prone to breakouts or blackheads, this oil is definitely a safe addition to your skincare routine. Oftentimes, we tend to believe that because our skin is oily, adding any lotions or oils will make it worse. But that’s just not the case… at all! The reason behind this is because when you deprive your skin of moisture, it will overcompensate by producing more sebum- the oil that your skin naturally produces. By applying these all-natural products to your skin--whatever skin type that might be--you are both neutralizing and balancing your own unique oil production, thus creating a youthful, healthy look and feel.

Along with 18 additional ingredients in our Hawaiian Healing Pure Revitalizing Cream (and 13 in our Nourishing Night Oil) Argan oil is one of the most incomparable, luxurious ingredients that will not disappoint!

Hawaiian Healing Skin Care Products are FILLED with the finest natural and organic ingredients. Our glass and bamboo packaging help to support sustainability and are eco-friendly. By having some of the most luxurious ingredients sourced directly from the islands of Hawai’i, and all over the globe, Hawaiian Healing Skin Care is able to provide your skin with the best all-natural and organic skincare products available.
